DePuy Synthes announced plans to launch the Inhance shoulder system, a fully integrated shoulder arthroplasty system, according to a press release.

The Inhance shoulder system is designed to address a range of complex shoulder replacement procedures in the hospital, outpatient or ASC setting. According to the release, the Inhance system is also designed to provide intraoperative flexibility by allowing surgeons to transition from stemless to stemmed implants during a procedure.

“At DePuy Synthes we’re focused on delivering innovations to address the most pressing needs of surgeons today while anticipating market dynamics that drive clinical trends and the needs of tomorrow,” Russell Powers, worldwide president of sports medicine and shoulder reconstruction at DePuy Synthes, said in the release. “The Inhance shoulder system reflects our strong commitment to lead in shoulder arthroplasty by taking innovation to the next level,” Powers added.
