WAILEA, Hawaii — In this video from Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2021, Jack M. Bert, MD, speaks about articular cartilage repair.
“It is clear that patients who have small grade 3 lesions of the knee do require either debridement or marrow stimulation with drilling. We want to avoid microfracture as often as possible unless we can add some type of matrix to it, which does enhance the cartilage repair,” he said.
