FX Solutions receives FDA clearance for coated humeral heads, glenospheres
FX Shoulder USA Inc. has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its titanium nitride-coated humeral heads and glenospheres, according to a press release.
The titanium nitride (TiN) coating is a new addition to FX Solution’s humeral heads and glenospheres, and is designed for use for with Humelock II, Humelock Reversed and Humeris shoulder systems, according to the release.
“We are now able to reach a broad market and provide surgeons even more shoulder arthroplasty solutions to address patients’ needs,” Baptiste Martin, CEO of FX Shoulder USA, said in the release. “As we continue to expand our portfolio, we truly have one of the more comprehensive portfolios dedicated exclusively to shoulder arthroplasty,” he said.
