Time with your spouse

I returned from the Orthopedics Today meeting this year filled with new knowledge and friendships. More importantly, the time I spent with my wife, Marie, was precious. There is no substitute for time away with one’s spouse. One simply cannot fully love what one doesn’t know.

The quiet time I spent with Marie afforded us both the opportunity to talk about matters we rarely have time to even broach at home. Furthermore, the walks, hikes and sightseeing enabled me to more fully see the world through my wife’s eyes. Believe me, there is a lot of life I was missing.

I encourage everyone to take regular excursions, just with one’s spouse, whenever possible. It will raise the bar for your marriage and allow you to see the world like never before!
