DENVER —At the Orthopaedic Trauma Association Annual Meeting, Russell Weisz, MD, spoke about a study that looked at the effect of IV ibuprofen, Caldolor (Cumberland (Pharmaceuticals Inc.), on opioid use in orthopedic trauma patients. He said IV ibuprofen was an excellent adjunct in the treatment of pain, and it reduced opioid consumption in orthopedic trauma patients.
