International Membership Programme helps health care professionals network

In 2018, EFORT launched its International Membership Programme, which is open to orthopaedic and trauma health care professionals who practice outside Europe, who want to connect globally and be part of a unique community at the forefront of musculoskeletal health.
All the international fellows of EFORT are part of the EFORT community, which includes 41 national member societies from 39 European countries. These individuals have access to state-of-the-art orthopaedics and musculoskeletal traumatology in Europe, and benefit from the exchange of scientific expertise and knowledge, as well as from experts’ insights in education training.
International fellows also profit from a preferential registration fee to the EFORT Annual Congress, the largest cross-border orthopaedics and traumatology (O&T) meeting worldwide.
Benefits at a glance include the following:
- preferential EFORT Annual Congress fee (member fee of EUR 520 vs. non-member fee of EUR 830);
- fast-track registration at the EFORT Annual Congress;
- free EFORTnet account with full access to the EFORT scientific e-library;
- article processing charges for EFORT Open Reviews waived;
- advanced notification of EFORT educational programmes as part of the EFORT European Orthopaedics & Traumatology Education Platform or EOTEP; and
- monthly EFORT Newsletters with the latest information on O&T developments in Europe and worldwide.
The EFORT International Membership Programme is an excellent opportunity to network with other professionals and stakeholders from the same profession and to share knowledge.
The annual membership fee is EUR 180.
