ORLANDO — At the Arthroscopy Association of North America, Patrick Joyner, MD, discussed a study that looked at the return-to-play rate in patients who were treated with a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection of the ulnar collateral ligament. Although PRP may or may not be beneficial for patients with low-grade tears, he said surgeons should do surgery in patients with high-grade tears.
