EFORT

For the first time, a printed program for the EFORT Congress will no longer be available. Attendees will have access to the entire program through the congress app via a mobile device.

Further, a sophisticated online program search engine has been developed that will help those who come to this year’s congress plan their attendance and guide their selection of sessions to attend among the more than 200 sessions presented this year in Lisbon.

For anyone who still likes a paper program, a printed pocket program will be available that can be folded down to the size of a business card to ease the transition to paperless. Copies of the pocket program can be collected at The EFORT Plaza.

The EFORT Plaza is a concept which had its inception last year as a replacement for EFORT’s usual booth presence within the exhibition. This networking area proposes an intuitive and integrative approach toward education, in general, and the area is delineated into various formats, such as eLearning, peer-reviewed literature and interactive spotlight presentations that take place in an onsite theatre forum with highlights, such as the latest in education — European Orthopaedics & Traumatology Education Platform,; European Orthopaedic Research Network, EORN; future planning of scientific programs; EFORT’s membership options; a review of milestones in orthopaedics and traumatology during the past 20 years; registries and the link to Australia, which is EFORT’s Invited Nation, the European Union and NORE.
