LAS VEGAS — At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Robert S. Namba, MD, spoke about the use of antibiotic bone cement for total knee arthroplasty. He said the use of antibiotic bone cement decreased the risk of infection in patients with diabetes who underwent TKA.
