Bioventus launches biphasic bone graft

Bioventus has announced the launch of Osteomatrix+, a new biphasic bone graft for use in bone remodeling in many orthopedic and spine applications, according to a company press release.
Osteomatrix+ consists of bovine collagen and biphasic, hydroxyapatite/beta-tricalcium phosphate granules to create a porous scaffold and sustained osteoconductivity throughout the bone remodeling process.
“Osteomatrix+ represents the first of several next-generation products that will be added to the Bioventus portfolio in the next 5 years,” Tony Bihl, CEO of Bioventus, said in the release. “We will provide more diverse orthobiologic offerings for hospitals and efficacious solutions for both surgeons and their patients, as we continue to grow and serve these markets.”
