ORLANDO, Fla. — At the Orthopaedic Trauma Association Annual Meeting, Lisa K. Cannada, MD, discussed a study that compared operative with nonoperative treatment for humeral shaft fractures. She said that at 6 months, both groups had higher DASH scores compared with population norms. These findings demonstrated patients did not fully recover.
