The CORE Institute adds eight orthopedic surgeons to its provider team

The CORE Institute announced the addition of eight orthopedic surgeons to its provider team, according to a press release.

“We are excited that physicians of such quality continue to share the vision of The CORE Institute and by doing so, choose to bring their clinical expertise and leadership to our community,” Jason Scalise, MD, vice chair and director of national physician integration at The CORE Institute, said in the release.

The new orthopedic surgeons include:

Michael H. Amini, MD, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and elbow;

Jesse Anderson, MD, FRCSC, a Canadian board-certified and dual fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, with interests in primary and revision joint replacement surgery of the hip and knee and arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder and ankle;

Peter Boyle, DO, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in primary and revision total hip and knee replacements;

Ammar R. Karim, DO, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in trauma, adult and pediatric fracture care and pelvic and periarticular trauma.

Alex O. Renshaw, DO, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and elbow;

Michael B. Rose, MD, a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon who specializes in advanced knee ligament reconstruction, hip arthroscopy, knee cartilage restoration, malalignment correction and shoulder and elbow surgery;

Michael Talerico, MD, a fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon who specializes in adult and pediatric fracture care, infections, post-traumatic deformities, osteomyelitis, amputations, nonunions, malunions, pelvic fractures, acetabular fractures, periarticular fractures, leg length discrepancy, periprosthetic fractures and foot and ankle trauma; and

Nicholas K. Wischmeier, MD, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle reconstruction and has a special interest in ankle replacement surgery, foot deformity correction, sports injuries and ankle trauma and arthritis.
