ORLANDO, Fla. — At the Orthopaedic Trauma Association Annual Meeting, Lisa K. Cannada, MD, discussed a study that compared recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2 with autograft for the treatment of tibial shaft fractures. She said rhBMP-2 may provide better results for patients with these fractures and bone loss.
