Musculoskeletal pathology at the Bone and Soft Tissue Tumors Course

We are delighted to announce the seventh Bone and Soft Tissue Tumors Course in Madrid. This EFORT-approved event will occur from 6 to 9 February 2019.
This year, the course has an updated and diversified content with orthopaedic oncology surgeons, musculoskeletal pathologists, bone radiologists, medical oncologists, reconstructive and reparative surgeons and medical radiation oncologists from the best sarcoma centers in the United States. The faculty come from Harvard Medical School, the Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston), the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Boston), David Geffen School of Medicine (Los Angeles), Miller School of Medicine at University of Miami, MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston), Health Science Center at University of Texas (San Antonio), New Jersey Medical School at University Hospital (Newark, New Jersey), NOVA Southeastern University College of Allopathic Medicine (Florida), Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center (Los Angeles) and La Paz University Hospital (Madrid), and will be responsible for imparting the course in accordance with the precepts established since the course started by Henry J. Mankin, MD.
The course is supported by the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society (MSTS). The faculty are MSTS members, including committee members and presidential line. This course has an international impact in different ways and it is considered one of the best on demonstrated multidisciplinary treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcoma. It offers to all multidisciplinary sarcoma teams greater knowledge of the scientific basis of musculoskeletal pathology, in which the roles of the orthopaedic surgeon, pathologist and radiologist overlap. The range of different treatment options, both general (medical oncology) and local (orthopaedic oncology surgery, radiation oncology and reconstructive and reparative surgery), complement the Bone and Soft Tissue Tumors Course.
