PHILADELPHIA At the Musculoskeletal Infection Society Annual Open Scientific Meeting, Antonia F. Chen, MD, MBA, discussed a study that found patients with greater soft tissue thickness in the knee had a greater risk for periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) after total knee arthroplasty.
