BOSTON — At the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society Annual Meeting, Kevin J. Wing, MD, FRCS(C), discussed results of a study that evaluated the effect of end-stage ankle arthritis on outcomes after ankle replacement surgery and fusion. He said both surgeries can significantly and clinically improve patient pain and function.
