Mahe Medical USA announces availability of spine emergency screw removal system

Mahe Medical USA announced via a press release the introduction and availability of its universal spine emergency screw removal system.

“Anything that can be done in the OR to help the patient through a procedure in a shorter period of time without impacting the outcome should be celebrated and that’s exactly what the Mahe spine emergency screw removal system does,” Keith Hamilton, Mahe Medical USA CEO, said in the release. “In general, our products help preserve the most precious resources in all daily clinical operations with those being nerves, time and money. Perhaps no product demonstrates this more aptly than the spine screw removal system.”

According to the release, benefits of the spine emergency screw removal system include that it has the ability to remove broken or stripped screws without the purchase of another kit or hardware; it is universal with the ability to remove any spine screw system regardless of the manufacturer; it costs 20% less than leading competitor; it uses fewer components and takes up less space in the OR.

In the press release, Hamilton said the system is simpler and costs less than other systems and was intended to be used to remove anything a spine surgeon may find. The screw removal system was manufactured in Germany, and through Mahe Medical USA and Amazon Business Professional Healthcare, it is available in the United States.
