NEW ORLEANS— At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, John “Jay” Crawford, MD, spoke about a new method used at his practice to allocate surgeon time. He also discussed the use of validated software-based scoring systems to ensure that every minute of a surgeon’s time is scheduled to provide the most value.
