VIDEO: Bert discusses effect of tax bill savings for physicians
KOLOA, Hawaii – At Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2018, Jack M. Bert, MD, discussed the effect of the recently passed tax bill on physicians. He said that approximately $338 billion is going to be saved when the individual mandate penalty goes away.
“Here is the problem for physicians – that is not found money. That money is going to be used to try to save money by not giving it to providers. The big concern right now is if that is going to be helpful to providers or not,” he said.
