In2BonesGlobal Inc. announced its subsidiary In2Bones USA LLC received FDA clearance for its CoLink forefoot bone plating system to be used for bone stabilization during the postoperative healing process.

According to a company press release, this addition will be marketed under the brand name CoLink View. The CoLink View bone plates incorporate titanium metal and polyetheretherketone (PEEK). The plates include an X-ray transparent PEEK hub for surgeons to watch a patient’s bone heal.

The CoLink View is reportedly the company’s sixth PEEK-related implant system to receive FDA clearance. In2Bones anticipates its other implant systems will be cleared in 2018.
