Paragon 28 announced the addition of posterior plates to its Gorilla ankle fracture plating system.

According to a company press release, the Gorilla ankle fracture plating system offers a total of 44 plates to be used for distal fractures of the fibula or tibia. The posterior plates offer surgeons 20 options across four families to address tibia and fibula fractures from the posterior approach. The plates include a posterolateral fibula plate, a posterolateral tibia plate, a posteromedial tibia plate and a trimalleolar fracture plate.
