EFORT-approved event: Ninth International Knee Arthroplasty Symposium

Every 2 years since October 2001, the Trauma and Musculoskeletal Diseases Foundation and the Zeromski Hospital’s Department of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery have hosted the International Knee Arthroplasty Symposium. This symposium is an event approved by EFORT, ESSKA and the Polish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
The symposium will focus on the exchange of experiences and discussion around the continuously developing field of knee arthroplasty.
Hot topics include:
- New trends in TKA
- Arthroplasty pathway - fast track
- Kinematic or mechanical alignment
- Knee balancing
- Dealing with bone defects
- UKA and PFJ
- Revision
- Infection
In the past, an average of 300 surgeons, many from countries across Europe and several other parts of the world, have attended these symposia. As a result, the International Knee Arthroplasty Symposium is hosted in English by faculties from around the world.
