SurGenTec recently announced the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted the company a new patent for its bone graft delivery technology.

According to a company press release, the Graftgun delivery system will enable surgeons to deliver bone graft of their choice in a minimally invasive fashion. The system reportedly provides a simple and safe way to deliver a bone graft in hard-to-reach places.

A loading device and multiple tube sizes to support a variety of surgical procedures and patient sizes are included in the Graftgun kit. The tubes feature embedded radiopaque markers that enable the surgeon to visualize where the bone graft will be placed on fluoroscopy.
