Johnson & Johnson announces launch of new value-based health care approach

Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices recently announced the launch of CareAdvantage, a new approach to drive value-based health care in hospitals across Europe, Middle East and Africa, according to a company press release.

CareAdvantage has already been launched in the United States.

In the data-driven holistic approach, Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices collaborates with hospital and health care providers to provide a range of benefits that are specific to a customer’s needs and priorities.

“We understand our customers need support that is tailored to their specific set of circumstances — and that is exactly what CareAdvantage provides,” Michelle Brennan, company group chair of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Europe, Middle East and Africa, said in the release. “We have the benefit of drawing on the incredible depth of knowledge and capabilities that exists within the Johnson & Johnson health care network and we work together with our hospital partners to co-create measurable programs that will deliver on their strategic priorities.”

According to the release, the approach focuses on the following four keys areas: improving the patient experience; driving supply chain efficiencies; building clinical partnerships; and providing commercial support.
