Additive Orthopaedics LLC has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its 3-D locking lattice plating system for the stabilization and fusion of fractures, osteotomies and arthrodesis of small bones, according to a company release.

“This clearance for these plates is significant for limb salvage, complex osteotomy, and implant revision patients because it truly provides the surgeon tremendous intra-operative flexibility by working in conjunction with our previously cleared 3-D printed bone segments,” Greg Kowalczyk, told Healio.com/Orthopedics.
