VIDEO: DiGiovanni talks about impact of Lisfranc injuries on professional football players
SAN DIEGO — At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Christopher W. DiGiovanni, MD, discussed a study that looked at Lisfranc injuries in professional football players during the National Football League (NFL) scouting combine. He said a significant Lisfranc injury can negatively affect an athlete with regard to draft status, draft position and playing potential during the first few years of an NFL career.
