SAN DIEGO — Baron Lonner, MD, spoke about the evolution of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis surgery in the last 20 years. He said it is beneficial for young spine surgeons to look at results and trends over decades of time because they can learn lessons from what was done 20 years ago. They also will be convert any lessons learned into innovation and improved outcomes, safety and quality in adolescent idiopathic surgery.
