LAHAINA, Hawaii — At Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2017, Matthew T. Provencher, MD, spoke about the current controversies and evidence in meniscal repair, techniques and outcomes. He said orthopedic surgeons must look closely at the roots of the meniscus, especially the posterior horn root and anterior horn root to ensure those are fully intact as well, and said sometimes surgeons must have the ability to address these with separate drill holes, sutures and other constructs.
