Stryker announced a multiyear partnership with the Indo UK Institute of Health’s Medicity Program to provide patients in India with more affordable primary joint replacements and other health care services.

According to a Stryker press release, the 20-year collaboration between the two companies will provide value throughout the continuum of orthopaedic care with a combination of Stryker’s implants and products, streamlined patient pathways and commercial services.

“We are proud to partner with Indo UK Institute of Health to make quality health care more accessible and affordable to the people of India, not only through the broad portfolio of products that we offer but also in our commitment to research and medical education,” Kevin A. Lobo, chairman and chief executive officer, said in the release.

Stryker will reportedly sponsor post-graduate training and an education center at one of the Indo UK Institute of Health’s medicity campuses and a research and development partnership with Stryker’s Global Technology Center in India.
