Life Spine introduced two new transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion products at the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting in Boston.

Featuring independent angulating blades and modular taps that anchor to the pedicles and allow for optimal disc space distraction, the company’s transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) retractor was designed with the goal of reducing tissue disruption and maximizing the exposure for better surgeon visualization, according to a company press release.

The release also noted the introduction of the Plateau-Lo, an innovative new oblique, lordotic interbody cage. The product is devised to assist with patient sagittal alignment.
