VIDEO: Arthrographic joint injection is effective for adhesive capsulitis treatment with, without steroids

BOSTON — At the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Annual Meeting, Ryan Bicknell, MD, said the arthrographic joint injection of shoulder joints with a local anesthetic with or without steroids was an effective treatment for adhesive capsulitis. He said the addition of steroids improved functional outcomes, improved disability scores and earlier range of motion improvements.
