EOS imaging recently announced it received a CE mark for spineEOS, the company’s online 3-D planning software for spine surgery.

According to a company press release, the software allows surgeons to use 3-D imaging to create an optimized treatment plan to improve sagittal alignment in pediatric patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and for adults with dengerative or deformative spine diseases.

“These online 3-D surgical planning solutions are a big step toward planning patient-specific procedures in 3-D that are cost-effective and provide our company the exciting opportunity to offer full image-based services along key orthopedic care pathways,” Marie Meynadier, chief executive officer of EOS imaging, said in the press release.
