Breg Inc. announced the launch of four new orthopaedic products in Europe, including a postoperative knee brace used for knee surgery and injury recovery.

The T Scope Premier, which builds on the telescoping design of the original T Scope, has a refined range-of-motion hinge, simplified user interface, redesigned pads and cuffs, and an optional Bridge Tech Incision Pad for adjustable comfort around an incision.

“We developed the T Scope Premier with input from orthopaedic surgeons and patients to enhance ease of use, comfort and fit. We expect this brace to have a significant impact on the growing postoperative recovery market,” Brad Lee, president of Breg, stated in a press release.

Breg also introduced the Ultra CTS Ankle Brace, a custom system that transforms from acute ankle brace to low-profile activity brace as patients progress through rehabilitation. Its PerformaFit upright stays attached for acute injury and can be detached for return to activity. It has Performathane-brand technology, which custom forms to the injured ankle and constantly reforms with edema reduction.

The Carlsbad Cervical Collar provides cervical spine immobilization with full adjustability and comfort. Radiolucent for use under X-ray, CT and MRI, the collar has dual height adjustments, six size settings and half-size increments.

The fourth product, the Achilles Wedges, place the foot in plantar flexion to offload the Achilles tendon during rehabilitation. The wedges provide customized height adjustments with interlocking wedges that maintain plantar flexion at 5°, 10°, 15° or 20°.
