ORLANDO, Fla. — At the Spine Summit 2016: CNS/AANS Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves Annual Meeting, Robert A. Hart, MD, spoke about factors which lead to the convergence of orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons as spine specialists. He said the earlier the convergence occurs, the better educational programs will be, with training programs having faculty and trainees from both specialties.
