ORLANDO, Fla. — At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Carlos A. Higuera Rueda, MD, discussed a study which evaluated the position of acetabular components after total hip arthroplasty. He said to improve patient-reported outcomes it is may be easier to use the superior and anterior approach to place the acetabular component.
