ORLANDO, Fla. — At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Eric Ricchetti, MD, discussed a study which used CT scans to analyze and compare standard vs. augmented glenoid components for correction of pathologic deformities after total shoulder arthroplasty (TSA). He said augmented components better corrected pathologic deformities in the long-term compared with standard components.
