ORLANDO, Fla. — At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Patricia D. Franklin, MD, MBA, MPH, spoke about the relationship between readmission and functional gain and pain relief after total joint replacement (TJR). She said the results of the study data support the importance of joint-specific patient-reported outcome measures in the assessment of TJR outcomes in quality of care programs.
