The National Spine and Pain Center recently launched a new pain management center in Charlottesville, Va. The center will be led by pain management physician Matthew Holland, MD.

The new center and its board-certified physicians will work to help restore quality of life to patients who experience acute and chronic pain. Customized treatment plans, including nonsurgical interventional procedures and responsible medication management, will be designed for patients, according to a press release from the center.

The lead physician of the center, Holland, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and certified in pain management. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Virginia and completed a fellowship in pain management at the University of Arizona.
