ORLANDO, Fla. — Bioventus introduced various new products for spine surgery and pain relief from osteoarthritis during the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting.

According to the press release from the company, the GELSYN-3 is a hyaluronic acid (HA)-based three-injection product for pain relief associated with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee. Bioventus also introduced the CellXtract for cell and bone marrow extraction and the Signafuse Bioactive Bonegraft Putty, which may give orthopedic surgeons better handling properties.

“Bioventus is pleased to introduce a full portfolio of bone grafting solutions backed by clinical and technical data to benefit patients, surgeons and hospitals this week at [the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting] AAOS,” Tony Bihl, chief executive officer of Bioventus, said in the release. “We are also excited to speak with attendees about GELSYN-3, our newest HA, as well as the rest of our active healing therapies product portfolio. It is our goal to provide customers with leading orthobiologic products that heal patients quickly and safely while helping them resume and enjoy active lives.”
