WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — At Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2016, William R. Beach, MD, discussed when osteotomy is appropriate to treat patellofemoral pathology. He said tibial tubercle osteotomy is a versatile procedure, can be used for patients with malalignment and osteoarthritis of the patellofemoral joint, and should be a part of patellofemoral cartilage surgery.
