EFORT

In support of the global effort launched by WHO and the Bone and Joint Decade to draw greater attention to trauma care, the EFORT Trauma Group has established a program of online surveys directed at European trauma experts.

The purpose of these multinational trauma surveys is to collect data on treatment options for various types of fractures among all EFORT members’ states to understand the similarities and differences in daily practice within Europe.

Proximal humerus and proximal femur fractures have previously been surveyed and the results have provided us with important knowledge.

Fracture survey

The treatment of distal radius fractures has changed during the last years, so will be interesting to see if indications and treatment options are similar among European trauma experts. This new survey was designed by Morten Schultz Larsen, MD, (Odense University Hospital, Denmark) and supported by the EFORT Trauma Group chaired by Professor Ulrich Stöckle (BG Clinic Tübingen, Germany).

Give us your feedback and complete to the Distal Radius Fracture Survey!
