Medicrea announces sales for 2015

The Medicrea Group recently announced its 2015 annual sales, which included a 15% increase in total sales from 2014 figures.

The 2015 annual sales for the group totaled 27.8 million euros and, according to a company press release, the group reported a record second half of sales for 2015 totaling 14 million euros.

Denys Sournac, chairman and chief executive officer of Medicrea, noted the company benefited from commercial investments made in 2014, which led to the opening of new export markets in 2015 in Eastern Europe and South America.

“This trend is likely to continue in 2016 thanks to the signing of new distribution agreements in Asia and the Middle East, the creation of our German subsidiary and the implementation of a new marketing organization in our British entity. We are making headway in France, where surgeons’ interest in our innovation and our UNiD customized implant platform enabled us to generate a 23% increase in sales compared with the previous year. We are continuing to invest heavily in our priority market in the United States, which accounted for 60% of total sales over the last year, in order to expand our sales force and directly promote our customized implants among patients,” Sournac said in the release.

The 2015 annual report will be released on April 6, 2016, after the market closes.
