New members of the EFORT Board
During the last EFORT General Assembly in Prague, which took place on Tuesday 26 May, the National Delegates representing the 45 National Member Societies elected new members to the EFORT Board.
Prof. Dr. Önder Aydingöz from Turkey was confirmed as Second Vice President for the period 2015/2016 and Dr. René Mihalic from Slovenia was elected Young Member at Large for a period of 2 years.
The General Assembly also re-elected the current Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Maurilio Marcacci, Italy, for a second term of 2 years until 2017 and Prof. Dr. Klaus-Peter Günther, from Germany, also for a second term as Member at Large until 2017.

All candidates accepted the elections and started their terms of offices at the beginning of June.
Further to the election of Board members, the General Assembly accepted the Bangladesh Orthopaedic Society as a new Associate Scientific Member.
