Globus Medical announces key leadership changes

Globus Medical Inc. recently announced several changes to its executive board.

Globus Medical president and chief operating officer, Dave Demski, will transition from that role and assume the position of group president for Emerging Technologies. In his new role, company he will focus on long-term strategic initiatives, including robotics, trauma and related opportunities for long-term growth, according to a company press release.

Anthony Williams, Globus senior vice president of business development and general counsel, will assume the role of president of Globus Medical as part of these changes. For the past 12 years, Williams has held various positions with Globus and has been responsible for business development efforts since 2013.

In addition, Brett Murphy, the Globus executive vice president of U.S. sales, was promoted to group president of commercial operations. Murphy, who is now responsible for worldwide sales at Globus Medical, will report to Globus Medical CEO David Paul.
