Neurotech North America. Neurotech North America was a previously owned subsidiary of BioMedical Research Inc.

Neurotech North America is a manufacturer of non-invasive stimulation products for orthopedics and spine indications. The acquisition also includes the commercial rights to rest of the world assets, excluding Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Neurotech’s primary products include Neurotech Recovery Back, a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and neuromuscular electrical nerve stimulation technology cleared for the lower back, and iKneehab XP, which is used for quadriceps strengthening.

“Theragen’s mission is to develop non-invasive therapeutic solutions using electrical, mechanical and other forms of energy that will provide relief for sufferers both prior to and post-surgical intervention,” Kimball Chen, chairman of the board for Theragen, stated in a company press release. “This acquisition demonstrates our commitment to this mission as we incorporate Neurotech’s world-class technology, research and development into our portfolio.”
