MedTech recently announced the appointment of Roland Peplinski as vice president of sales for the regions of Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America.

Formerly in the same role for the European region of Mazor Robotics, Peplinski joins Medtech with over twenty years experience in the medical device industry. He also has over ten years of experience specifically with surgical robotics.

The company also announced the opening of its new German subsidiary, Medtech GmbH. Medtech hopes this will give them a foothold in the German market, which is tops for medical equipment in Europe with approximately 1,300 healthcare centers.

“Roland Peplinski’s background in surgical robotics combined with his international experience, is a major asset for Medtech’s market deployment in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Latin America,” Bertin Nahum, Medtech’s founder and chief executive officer, stated in a company release. “Medtech is actively structuring its international sales force notably with the opening of a new branch in Germany. Our presence on the first European market for medical equipment will strongly contribute to the acceleration of our sales in Europe.”
