Orthofix International announced it recently received a letter from NASDAQ stating that the 2014 Annual Report on Form 10-K had not been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission by its March 16 due date, representing basis for non-compliance.

This update follows a prior request by Orthofix for an extension from the NASDAQ Hearings Panel for additional time to complete and file its two delayed quarterly reports, as well as amended reports containing its restatement for prior periods, according to a press release.

The Hearings Panel previously granted Orthofix continued listing through March 31, 2015, as long as the company remained current in its filing obligations with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Orthofix continues to work to complete procedures needed to file the two delayed quarterly reports, the amended reports containing its restatement for prior periods and its 2014 Annual Report on Form 10-K, and will be providing a written update to the Hearings Panel regarding these matters on or before March 25, 2015, according to the press release.
