LAS VEGAS — At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Modernizing Medicine showcased the latest advancements with the Electronic Medical Assistant Orthopedics electronic medical records system, according to a press release.
Built with an adaptive learning engine, the cloud-based Electronic Medical Assistant (EMA) Orthopedics can adjust to a provider’s practice style in real-time and can pull up the surgeon’s most frequently used diagnoses and treatment plans first. Available as an iPad application and accessible on the internet, EMA Orthopedics includes automated and advanced ICD-10 coding, Meaningful Use and Physician Quality-Reporting System reporting capabilities, as well as EMA’s Grand Rounds, which helps eliminate redundancies and automate communications, according to the release.
“Our EMA Orthopedics platform is designed with intricate detail in order to incorporate the complexity of the orthopedics space,” Daniel Cane, CEO and cofounder of Modernizing Medicine, said in the release. “EMA Orthopedics not only allows physicians to access information and data almost anywhere at any time, it has fully automated ICD-10 coding and comprehensive Meaningful Use capabilities. In addition, EMA Orthopedics now includes workers compensation for some states.”
