The North American Spine Society has released several new guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis.

The new guidelines, “Evidence-Based Guideline: Diagnosis and Treatment of Degenerative Lumbar Spondylolisthesis, Second Edition,” offer an update on guidelines from 2008, providing evidence-based solutions and recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of the degenerative disorder. The concepts included within the document are based on clinical literature available as of May 2013, according to a press release from the organization.

Prepared by a NASS development panel comprising surgeons, nonsurgeons and nonphysician practitioners, the 121-page document is currently available for download.
