Bacterin International Holdings recently announced the launch of a new demineralized allograft, 3Demin Cortical Fibers.

3Demin Cortical Fibers are the first product to be released in Bacterin’s latest 3Demin product line and can be used in a variety of orthopedic and reconstructive applications, particularly spinal procedures.

The fibers are demineralized using Bacterin’s proprietary processing technology and have regenerative properties for healing bone, according to a company press release.

3Demin Cortical Fibers have been launched in a limited number of surgeons’ offices and health facilities for market feedback.

The company expects that the 3Demin product family will enhance its existing biologic portfolio and provide an additional revenue source for the remainder of 2014 and into 2015, according to the release.
